September 5th, 2014 - Podium Finish for Sullivan at Crowley's Ridge
1Jack Sullivan returned to action over the weekend as he took part in a COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models event at Crowley's Ridge Speedway (Paragould, Arkansas).

Thirty-one competitors converged on the oval for the $3,000-to-win race, and Jack began his outing by claiming a heat race win to lock into the pole position for the feature with Eric Cooley alongside. Cooley suffered mechanical issues before a lap could be completed, moving Dan Dacus up to the outside-front-row. Dacus jumped to the lead at the drop of the green flag with Sullivan in tow.

Sullivan trailed Dacus for much of the event before fourteenth starting Kyle Beard joined the mix as the trio waged a three-way battle for the top spot. Lap 38 found Sullivan surging to the lead before Kyle Beard used the low line to snag the top spot to lead lap 39.

As the leaders exited turn two on the white flag circuit the capacity crowd came to their feet as the lead trio went three wide. Sullivan ultimately settled to third as it was Beard who won the drag race down the backstretch to take the lead. Dacus was runner-up while Tommy Surrett and Chandler Petty rounded out the top five finishers.
