Top 5 Finish in CCSDS Action at Tri-State Speedway
Kicking off the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) tripleheader, Jack Sullivan was one of 19 Super Late Models on hand at Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma) on Thursday night for the $3,000 top prize. Coming in 3rd in his heat race, Sullivan locked his spot into the opening night feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Jack posted a 5th place finish behind Tony Jackson Jr., Cade Dillard, Jesse Stovall, and Will Vaught.
On Friday evening at Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Oklahoma) for the event co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA), Jack recorded a 4th place finish in his heat positioning him 14th on the starting grid for the feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Sullivan gained eight spots in the 30-lap affair reeling in a 6th place finish. (Todd Boyd photo)
Returning on Saturday for the second round of the ARMI Freedom Classic, Sullivan secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat race behind Logan Martin. Rolling off 9th, Jack Sullivan held his spot for the entire distance to place 9th.
