Jack Sullivan Visits Lucas Oil Speedway for Show-Me Weekend
On Thursday evening Jack Sullivan traveled to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Cowboy Classic. With a stout field of 65 Super Late Models registered in for action, Sullivan came two spots short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 5th place outing. Needing to place in the Top 2 in his B-Main to make the opening night $6,000-to-win A-Main, Jack fell three spots short with a 5th place finish.
On Friday evening for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Jack passed two cars in his heat race to place 7th. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the final $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Sullivan logged a 6th place outing.
Wrapping up the Show-Me 100 weekend on Saturday, Jack was slated to roll off 6th in his B-Main for one last shot at the $30,000-to-win finale. Sending the Top-2, Sullivan came short of a transfer position with a 6th place finish. Earning a spot into the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge, Jack Sullivan improved five spots in the 20-lapper reeling in a 3rd place finish. (K.C. Shaw photo)
