Jack Sullivan Opens 2018 Season With Win at Springfield Raceway

Jack Sullivan kicked off the 2018 season on Saturday night at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season opener. In a field of 21 Super Late Models, Sullivan started the night off with a heat race victory positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the feature. Overtaking race-leader B.J. Robinson near the mid-point of the A-Main, Jack held off the field in the remaining distance to capture his first win of the season and a $3,000 payday. Gavin Landers, Robert Baker, Jesse Stovall, and Payton Looney completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair. (Jim DenHamer photo)
