Sullivan Makes 2019 Debut at Topless 100
On Thursday night Jack Sullivan made his first start of the season at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) for the three-day Topless 100. Drawing 46 cars for the event co-sanctioned by the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Jack followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with the 4th and final transfer spot in his B-Main. Starting the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature in 24th, Sullivan gained six spots in the 30-lapper reeling in an 18th place outing.
Returning on Friday evening for another $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Sullivan came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Scoring a 2nd place spot in his B-Main behind Devin Moran, Jack earned the 19th-starting position for the show. Improving seven spots in the 30-lap affair, Jack Sullivan notched a 12th place finish. With his spot already locked into Saturday night’s $40,000-to-win Topless 100, Jack Sullivan dropped three spots in the 100-lapper registering a 17th place finish.
